The 83714 is a most advanced Pressure Sensor based on already known technology, the device adds a level of integration by including microcontroller and LF-input stages to meet market demands for flexible, customer specific behaviour and solutions. The sensor is a micro system consisting of a micro machined sensor die and flexible ASIC. The device has excellent media compatibility due to a patented bulk micro machined triple stack sensor die design, utilizing buried piezoresistive elements and backside media access to pressure diaphragm. With this design the internal connectors and piezoresistive elements of the pressure bridge are isolated from the measurement media. The isolation is of great advantage in terms of sensor stability and reliability over a very long lifetime. The 83634 is an uncompensated piezoresistive Pressure Sensor is designed for reliable barometric pressure measurements. The design consists of a bulk micro machined pressure sensor. Sensor has excellent media compatibility due to the patented triple stack sensor design with buried backside piezoresistive elements. With the backside media access, the piezo resistors will not come in direct contact with the measurement media. The design improves stability and sensor lifetime compared to many traditional sensor designs. The design and performance of device makes it ideal for high accuracy measurements, also in harsh environments. The long term stability is outstanding and has been proven in applications during a period of more than 10 years.
